Day by day...

Day 1 : SANTIAGO DE CHILE / ARRIVAL – CITY TOUR

Arrival to Santiago de Chile in the morning (flight time and number to be confirmed, flight not included, see flight options down below). Meeting with your English-speaking guide and transfer to the hotel. First glance of the Chilean capital, metropolis located at the Andes bottom, with an unequal charming. Even if throughout the years it has become a modern city, certain neighborhoods still have an ancient and romantique atmosphere. Visit of the Plaza de Armas, the Bellavista neighborhood and the Cerro San Cristobal.
Night at the hotel. Meals not included.

Day 2 : SANTIAGO - VALPARAISO - VIÑA DEL MAR

In the morning, a private vehicle takes us to the Pacific Coast. We cross the Valley of Casablanca, well known for its white wines, before reaching Valparaiso, registered as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Visit of the town, then transfer to the seaside resort of Viña del Mar, where the biggest music festival is conducted during summer. The city tour allows us to see the obvious contrast between these two cities. Night at the hotel.

Day 3 : VIÑA DEL MAR – LA CAMPANA NATIONAL PARK - SANTIAGO

The very first tramway between Viña del Mar and Valparaíso dates back to 1855, allowing both towns to prosper and continue their growth. On May 31st 1878, Viña del Mar was officially founded by a Chilean government decree. The city centre is also the oldest part of the town and is located on the shores of River Marga Marga, which divides the city in two.
After breakfast we will go to La Campana National Park where you then have lunch. It’s a 8.000-hectare park, between 400 and 2,000 meters high with native trees. We will walk on the path in this forest before going back to Santiago at the end of the day. Night at the hotel. Meals not included.

Day 4 : SANTIAGO – WINE ROAD

We leave the hotel at 10 a.m. Our first stop is the Cousiño Macul winery located southeast of Santiago. Don Matias Cousiño purchased this vineyard in 1856. Its present characteristics are importing noble vine stocks and employing European oenologists in addition to having huge limestone cellars built.
We continue our tour in the arts and crafts centre known as “el pueblito de los domínicos” (“the Dominican little town”), via “Reina Alta”, a panoramic viewpoint from which we can enjoy the beauty of the Andes Mountain Range.
We continue until the Santa Rita vineyard where we stay for the night at the hotel Casa Real. Meals not included.

Day 5 : WINE ROAD - SANTIAGO

Visit of the Santa Rita vineyard founded in 1880 at Alto Jahuel. Lunch at the Doña Paula restaurant and coming back to Santiago in the afternoon. Night at the hotel. Meals not included.
Optional: Theme Dinner : Colors of Chile in Santiago. To end with your trip, enjoy a cultural and gastronomic moment during a typical dinner with traditional dances and songs.
