Day 1: Santiago de Chile

Arrival in Santiago and private transfer to your hotel.


Visit of Chile's capital, nestled at the foot of the Andes. Although Santiago has become over the years a modern and bustling city, some older neighbourhoods have preserved their atmosphere and a romantic charm.
You will visit the Plaza de Armas, San Francisco Church, the Bellavista area, Cerro San Cristobal, etc.

Night at the Galerias hotel ***.

Day 2: Santiago de Chile - Temuco - Temuco Airport - Pucón

Private transfer from your hotel to Santiago airport.


Domestic flight from Santiago to Temuco (time to be confirmed, flight indicated in option).

Welcome at Temuco airport and transfer to Lake Villarica, 1:30h drive. You are now in the lake and volcano region, on the way you see the Llaima volcano and we are now facing the volcano Villarrica, a perfect cone. Arrival in Pucon for lunch. Check into your hotel and end of the day by the lake at leisure.

Night at the Bambu Lodge hotel**.

Day 3: Pucón

Day at Leisure to enjoy the area and the several outdoor activities offered or you can relax in one of the many natural hot springs and spas of the area:
* Peuyamen hot Springs
* Trekking in the nearby national parks

* Rafting, kayaking and hydrospeed sports on the Trancura river
* Canopy
* Horseback riding with the Mapuche
* Ascent to the crater of Villarrica volcano (2847 m)

Day 4: Pucón - Huilo Huilo

Starting at 9 a.m. with your guide.


Leave the shores of Lake Villarrica in the early morning to go further south. The road "Interlagos" was build specifically to enjoy the beauty of each of these lakes and to get off the Pan-American Highway. You can take lots of breaks, to take pictures and enjoy the fresh water of the lakes or the warm waters of the hot springs, numerous in this volcanic region.

A two-hour drive take you along the lakes Calafquén and Panguipulli. View of the Villarrica volcano, from different angles. End of the afternoon, you arrive on the outskirts of the Huilo Huilo reserve with in front of you, the Choshuenco volcano and check-in at your hotel.

Day 5: Huilo Huilo

Free day. Enjoy your stay at the pace of the reserve, its incredible nature and calm. You can choose from the following activities (not included):

Night at the Nothofagus hotel ****

Included : english speaking guide, private transport, breakfast buffet , room

Day 6: Huilo Huilo - Puerto Varas

Starting at 9 a.m. with your guide.

After a short 20 minutes drive, you stop in Huilo Huilo national park and discover its majestic waterfalls. Then you drive along Panguipulli lake to reach the mythical Pan-American Highway. After a 2 hours drive, your guide takes you to Llanquihue lake and the Vicente Perez Rosales national park. There an 30 minutes walk awaits you to the magnificent Petrohue waterfalls and its turquoise water.

You hit the road again and reach Puerto Varas at the end of the afternoon.

Day 7: Puerto Varas - Puerto Montt - Punta Arenas - Puerto Natales


Two hours before your flight, transfer from Puerto Varas to El Tepual airport (Puerto Montt).
Domestic flight from Puerto Montt to Punta Arenas (time to be confirmed, flight indicated in option).

Welcome by the driver at Punta Arenas airport and private transfer to Puerto Natales, city next to the Senoret canal and Torres del Paine National Park, one of the most spectacular of South America.

Night at the If Patagonia hotel ***.

Day 8: Puerto Natales - Cerro Dorotea - Puerto Natales


Departure from the hotel at 09: 00. Transfer of 10 minutes. Welcome at the ranch where the Baqueanos (Chilean gauchos) will give you the horses and recommendations. Very nice half-day ride to the most beautiful viewpoint of Puerto Natales, from where you will learn about the history of the town and enjoy a panoramic 360º view of the Ultima Esperanza fjord. You can also observe the flight of the condors that lurk in the granite cliffs of the mountain Cerro Dorotea. A small snack is included with a typical "mate". Continue on the ridge and then return to your hosts where you will be greeted with the classic "once".
Transfer back to the hotel. End of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 9: Puerto Natales - Torres del Paine National Park - Puerto Natales

Departure from the hotel at 7:45 to Torres del Paine National Park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1978. You will enter the park by the lagoon area to enjoy a panoramic view of the famous Paine towers, three impressive blocks of granite.
You'll discover along the way the Nordenskjold and Pehoe lakes, the cascade "del salto grande" (walking tour of the site is approximately 45 minutes), the panorama of the Paine Massif and its glacier, and the "Cuernos" del Paine. This park will amaze you with its massive turquoise lakes.

Day 10: Puerto Natales - Punta Arenas - Carlos III Island


Private transfer from Puerto Natales to Punta Arenas.
Transfer from Punta Arenas to the embarkation point, where we left the Transfer to board our vessel "TANU" with a length of 17 meters and a speed of 8-10 knots, capacity of 16 persons bay "Punta Carrera" 60km from Punta Arenas.
We sail for the Carlos III Island app for 7 hours (Depending on the climate factor) where we spend browsing several important points before reaching the Marine Park "Francisco Coloane" among them, Fuerte Bulnes, Mount Tarn, Faro San Isidro Cabo Froward.
1:00 p.m. Lunch or Snack on board, depending on weather conditions.
5:00 p.m. we start entering the area of the marine park "Francisco Coloane"
We will have the opportunity to make the first whalewatching that we find on the route to the island Carlos iii to finally reach at our eco camp domes at 7:00 p.m. Once in the camp of the island Carlos iii we will meet "John Capella" marine biologist at the University of Chile and lead scientist of our company. Juan is passionate about the subject and discovered this feeding are of the humpback whale over 13 years ago, his research is based on photo identification through the caudal fin with a unique pigmentation and also of the dorsal fin, collecting about 150 whales in our catalog with name and number for each individual, Juan is able to recognize them easily just by seeing their flukes and dorsal.
7:30 p.m. we walk to the "observatory" located 280 mts away from the camp by a path of wooden walkways to make a whalewatching from there, is the workplace of juan for photo identification from the ground.8:30 p.m. return to the camp to have a comforting welcome dinner while the staff starts the fires in combustion heaters within their domes, to finish the day and recharge energy for the next day.

Day 11: Carlos III Island

9:00 a.m. we sail for the feeding area of the humpback whale in the channel "Barbara" app 2 hours away from the camp, in the way we will observe different species of sea and land birds. We past on Rupert island to observe the colony of Magellanic penguins, among other birds found like the southern giant petrel-browed albatross, or Chilean skua robber, red head vultur.
On land we can see the tiuque or chimango , carancho or traro and condor among others.
1:00 p.m. once inside the barbara cannel we will serve lunch on board and we'll be exploring into the fjord, making the humpback whalewatching with "Juan Capella" to accompany us for photo identification of all individuals catch sight during the day along with sea lions, marine and terrestrial birds. 4:00 p.m. we begin to move towards the glacier Santa Inés to enjoy a wonderful view of the glacier "Gregorio" into the fjord "Seno Helado" were we also can see nests of cormorants.5:00 p.m. returned towards the Carlos III Island making a stop by Barbara channel for a new observation of humpback whales at sunset to end the day arriving at the eco camp at 7:30 p.m. app and have a farewell dinner with all staff.

Day 12: Carlos III Island - Punta Arenas

9:00 PM Return to the landing site in "Punta Carrera" to address our transfer back to your place of lodging without first performing whalewathcing that we find during our return route.

Transfer in a private vehicle from your hotel in Punta Arenas to Punta Arenas Airport.
